Brent crude trade lower $60.22 per barrel

Crude oil prices rose Rs 19 to Rs 5,086 per barrel in futures trade as participants increased their positions following a firm spot demand.

Crude oil for February delivery traded higher by Rs 19 or 0.37 per cent at Rs 5,086 per barrel in 6,283 lots. Analysts said the rise of bets by participants kept crude oil prices higher in futures trade.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude was trading 0.41 per cent higher at $56.22 per barrel, while Brent crude rose 0.43 per cent to $60.22 per barrel in New York.
